Who we are

The Tri-County Protective Agency opened its doors in February 1988 to serve victims of domestic violence in Liberty, Long, and Bryan Counties, as well as Fort Stewart, Georgia. The land the facility currently sits on was generously donated by Mr. Carl Dykes, a former mayor of Hinesville.

Over the years, the agency has expanded its services and reach. In 1995, it was able to extend its assistance to victims in Evans and Tattnall Counties. Today, the Tri-County Protective Agency continues to provide essential support to individuals affected by domestic violence in these five counties.

The agency's mission remains steadfast: to offer temporary shelter, counseling, and education to victims of domestic violence, while also promoting their rights through legal services. It's a testament to the organization's dedication and the community's support that the Tri-County Protective Agency has been able to provide vital services for over three decades.
